Full-time positions will be eligible for Green Tree's benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, 401K and paid vacation. Medical, dental and vision benefits available after completion of 60 consecutive days of employment. 401K option is available after completion of 180 consecutive days (6 months) of employment. Paid vacation available after completion of 1 consecutive year of employment.

Position Summary:

 Manages Green Tree's cart barn by storing, maintaining and distributing Green Tree owned golf carts.

 Position Relationships:

  1. Reports to: Head Golf Professional
  2. Workers Supervised: None

Responsibilities and Authorities (Performance Factors Used to Evaluate Employee):

  1. Organizes strictly scheduled preventive maintenance program for all carts.
  2. Maintains and repairs carts as needed.
  3. Maintains sufficient inventory of parts and tools to support a quality cart repair and maintenance program.
  4. Maintains cart shop and adjacent areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  5. Cleans carts.
  6. Charges batteries.
  7. Submits charges to bookkeeper or golf professional for all services rendered to members.
  8. Operates golf carts and cart shop equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  9. Provides carts to starter when required.
  10. Prepares daily cart report for assistant golf professional.
  11. Complies with all cart area closing procedures including compliance with proper security procedures.
  12. Compiles and maintains a maintenance record for all carts.
  13. Attends staff meetings.
  14. Performs other tasks assigned by the head golf professional.
  15. Demonstration of cooperation, interest, and enthusiasm in support of the club's mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives.
  16. Assures development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures which guide and support provisions of designated services.
  17. Demonstration of effective inter-disciplinary cooperation and assists with improvement in interdepartmental communications
  18. Performs essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

  3. There is a potential for stressful situations and for long hours.

 Work Expectations

  1. Establish priorities, meet deadlines and handle competing tasks and demands.
  2. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  3. Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
  4. Flexible working schedule with an expectation of 40-45 hours per week minimum. Occasionally, additional work time is needed on weekends and holidays in addition to regular work schedule.
